Charlbury YOYO (Youth
Group) started four years ago. We are an Interchurch Youth organisation.
AIM: Fun, friendship and challenge, to informally think through hot issues.
WHEN & WHERE: We usually meet in the Methodist Church hall, fortnightly, on Sunday evenings 7 - 8.30pm. (See attached Programme)
WHO: Young people from 11 to 18 years. We have about 18 members at present.
LEADERS: We have a team of six leaders. We also have three older YOYO members who are Group helpers.
PROGRAMME: Last term we covered topics such as Honesty, How to find Real happiness, as well as a games evening, 'Disaster Chef' and of course a Christmas Party to finished off! This term, as well as the rest of the programme, we hope to link up with Kingham School for some of their High profile Centenary celebration events such as Thebandwithnoname, and Power Lifters / Tough talk.
