Christmas Tree Festival: Thanks to our Sponsors!
Come and see the Christmas Trees!
The Christmas Tree Festival is open until 2nd January. Come along and see the trees in the church and churchyard. Each tree has been sponsored and decorated to reflect an action or interest. There is also a Giving Tree (details here) if you would like to join in the initiative to sponsor a gift for a local child or a hamper for a local family.

Giving Tree Initiative
Cornerstone and the Christmas Tree Festival are running the Giving Tree Initiative, and it is now open!
Trees are up in Cornerstone, the Community Centre and St Mary’s Church.
To participate, you choose a child you would like to sponsor by taking an angel decoration. Please write the code from the angel e.g. GT01 and your details on the sign up form. Some angels are for items to go in a Christmas hamper rather than presents for children. Once you have purchased your items please bring them to Cornerstone before Wednesday 17th December so we can get them to families.
Any queries, please pop into Cornerstone and speak to the volunteers or email cornerstone@charlburychurch.uk
Thank you for helping us to support local families in need.

Bellringers raise the Christmas Tree!
Our intrepid band of Bellringers pulled together to raise the large Christmas tree in church in time for the Christmas Tree Festival which begins on Friday 5.30pm with the switching on of lights and Children’s Choir.
On Saturday the Wychwood Chorale are offering songs from Christmases past, beginning at 7.30pm, free admission and refreshments.

Slatyne Christmas Cards
Due to popular demand, Maureen has ordered more Christmas cards which are being sold in aid of our link church in Slatyne, Ukraine. More details here.
So far the Christmas cards have raised £1200 towards buying a wood chipper for Slatyne as their electricity lines have been damaged. Huge thanks to Maureen for creating these unique Christmas cards and to everyone for their support.
A new well for Slatyne
