Bell Ringing

We have a fine ring of 6 bells at Charlbury. They were all cast by Ruddall of Gloucester and installed in 1715, so are now well over 300 years old.  They are tuned to the key of F with the largest bell weighing around 14 ½ cwt. They are regularly rung for the Sunday morning service and we practice on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m.  We have a happy band of ringers which you would be welcome to join.  Carefully planned training will be given to those who wish to learn this craft, which can be very satisfying.  Bell ringing has been going on for around 500 years at least, and we are determined to keep that going with your help.
