Louise Whitehead spoke to the congregation at the end of the 10am service on 17th November, Safeguarding Sunday. Louise is our Parish Safeguarding Officer and also the Head of Safeguarding for Oxford Diocese. In her talk, Louise made reference to the difficult events surrounding the horrific abuse by John Smyth and the Archbishop of Canterbury’s recent resignation. Our thanks to Louise.

A celebration of Harvest was held at All Saints Church Shorthampton on Sunday 13th October.
There will be a service of Choral Evensong omn Sunday 20th October at 6pm in St Mary’s Church. All welcome. A recording of the service can be found here.
This flexible, part-time role provides 10 – 12h per week of administrative support to the Vicar and the churches of St Marys Charlbury and All Saints’ Shorthampton. The work will be carried out at the Parish Office in St Mary’s Church, Charlbury.
